The College of Creative Arts at Massey University is a world-class art and design school based in Wellington, New Zealand with a legacy of 130 years of creative education. The College is comprised of the School of Design Ngā Pae Mahutonga, the School of Art Whiti o Rehua, including the Toioho ki Āpiti Māori Visual Arts programme located in Palmerston North, and the School of Music and Creative Media Production Te Rewa o Puanga.

The College of Creative Arts is seeking applications for a Technical Demonstrator, within Toioho ki Āpiti Māori Visual Arts, within School of Art Whiti o Rehua, but based in Palmerston North. The School requires a Technical Demonstrator to support its established programmes in Māori Visual Arts and Post Graduate study.

To be successful in appointment you will have;

·        a Tertiary qualification or industry experience in video /art production

·        experience with sound and video recording

·        knowledge in Adobe software, Premiere, After effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition

·        experience in art installation especially with moving image and sound equipment

·        an ability to work as part of a team but be self-motivated and resourceful.

The successful applicant will need to be available full days on Mondays and Fridays with a flexible half day in between to align to the delivery mode of the current programmes and the support required for our staff and students.
